An Employer’s Guide to California’s New Regional Stay-at-Home Order

California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced a regional stay-at-home order on Dec. 3 that could soon have a dramatic impact on businesses in the state. Unlike previous orders, the regional stay-at-home order focuses on shutting down regions, not counties, based on hospital capacity in each area. The order took effect at on Dec. 5 for any specific region when intensive-care-unit (ICU) capacity for hospitals in that region drops below 15 percent. (Read More)
