Committees

Join an HRCC committee to help the organization reach its goals. When you join a committee, you'll feel a sense of community, accomplishment and leadership.

Annual Conference - Janee Concepcion & Michelle Johnson

The HRCC holds an annual half-day conference in San Luis Obispo County offering workshops, speakers and/or panel discussions focusing on HR topics. This committee organizes and coordinates the conference including recruiting speakers, marketing the conference, and logistics. 

Hospitality - Vicki Federico

This Committee works to see that the luncheon meetings start in a timely manner by assisting with nametags at the door, set up of networking and development tables, and greeting members as they arrive. 

Membership - Michelle Johnson

The Membership Committee is responsible for recruiting and welcoming members through outreach and marketing. 

Programs - Haydee Castaneda

The Monthly Programs Committee helps recruit guest speakers for our monthly meetings and develops the variety of topics that will be discussed. 

Reservations - Diana Marin

The Reservations Committee is responsible for coordinating attendance to our monthly meetings, making sure the Welcoming Committee receives reservations and coordinating with the Madonna Inn for lunches. 

Social Media - Vacant

This Committee works to see that our group and relevant human resources hot topices are promoted through social media avenues. 

Historian

The HRCC Historian serves at the pleasure of the board as the recorder and custodian of the association’s past and future accomplishment and activities.  The historian serves to remind the members of upcoming milestones and other significant events.
