Job Title Senior Human Resources Generalist
Job Responsibilities

Partner with Director of HR in adjudication of employee grievances. This includes assisting with employee relations issues, ensuring confidence, confidentiality and impartiality when addressing personnel issues and interacting with employees to ensure that HR is fully accessible to the organization Develop and implement a plan for employee growth in organization Create path for growth in different levels of organization Target employees/positions for possible succession planning and growth throughout the organization § Once identified, create training and development plan in conjunction with management staff Oversee all facets of the recruiting process; developing job requisitions, updating/creating job descriptions in conjunction with the hiring manager, creating/posting job advertisements, candidate sourcing, resume collection, review and tracking, initial screening and scheduling interviews. Provide notification of hiring decisions to candidates Process all onboarding activities for new hires New Hire notification emails, first day agendas and meeting notices, organization orientation process and handbook review, new hire paperwork completion (from the candidate and required internal paperwork; i.e. PAF), data entry of new hire information and coordination of Quest meetings with other departments Schedule, track and log all introductory reviews for new hires, ensuring salary adjustments and referral bonuses are processed in a timely manner Support HR projects as required to ensure that HR policies and procedures are developed continuously to meet overall business requirements Compensation program review and maintenance, including salary ranges, position benchmarking, salary surveys, FLSA status compliance, merit spreadsheet maintenance and implementation Performance evaluation process review and maintenance including forms creation, implementation, tracking, and review of final employee performance reviews Creation of reports and HR analytics as needed, including demographics, metrics comparisons, etc. Responsible for Worker’s Compensation investigation and filing Responsible for state filings – EEO-4 reports, benefit tax filing Form 5500, Form 1094 and 1095C, etc. Coordination and tracking of required trainings, such as Harassment Prevention and others as needed Coordinate and process terminations including, preparing and communicating documentation needed, exit interviews, notifying applicable parties, and closing out file Provide backup HR support when needed to cover department needs Special projects as assigned. THIS POSITION IN LOCATED IN SANTA BARBARA.

Job Qualifications

BS/BA Degree or equivalent business experience required Must possess a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Human Resource Generalist, with a progressive growth in responsibilities HR Certificate and/or PHR preferred
