Vitalant provides blood and special services to patients in about 900 hospitals across the U.S. Millions of people in communities throughout the states we serve depend on generous volunteer blood donors and our dedicated team to make sure lifesaving blood is available when and where it is needed.

Under limited direction, this position is responsible for managing Blood Donor Recruitment, Tele-recruitment, and/or other assigned staff to achieve annual and monthly team goals through effective blood donor recruitment. This position assists the director to achieve recruitment objectives by developing market penetration plans, planning recruitment strategies, and increasing blood donations. Duties include management of other managers and/or geographic or operational complexities for the Central Coast (Thousand Oaks to Monterey). Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience in related field required. Five years related experience to include two years supervisory experience required.
