Resistance to Giving Feedback - Why and How to Move Through It

PRESENTER: Beth Wonson

Tuesday, July 9, 2024
11:30am - 1:00pm

Feedback is an essential tool for growth and development, and yet, we are more resistant than ever before to give feedback.

 Why?

  • People are highly sensitive due to world and local events.
  • Hiring and retaining employees is more challenging than ever.
  • Traditional feedback training just isn’t effective.
  • We fail to create work cultures where feedback is expected, accepted, and valued.

Beth Wonson is on a mission to change how we perceive feedback. Beth is the author of “Mastering Feedback, “Everything You’ve Never Been Told About How to Give Feedback” and “Turn this Conversation Around - A 4-Stage Process for Communication with Connection”. Beth is also the developer and founder of Navigating Challenging Dialogue®. She has worked with hundreds of companies and organizations nation-wide, teaching the skills to be effective in leadership and communication.

Beth will share with us strategies and tools that can be implemented immediately to transform how we give feedback so that it is welcomed, relevant, and actionable.
