Franchisors Not Liable for Franchisee’s Labor Violations, Ninth Circuit Rules

Recently, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued an important wage and hour decision related to joint employment, particularly for franchisors (Salazar, et al. v. McDonald’s Corp.).
