Job Title Sr. Maintenance Tradesperson
Job Responsibilities

The SR Maintenance Tradesperson will repair and maintain machinery and production equipment as well as installing functional and structural parts within the facility. You are responsible for performing preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery; lubricating and cleaning as required. This individual will operate a wide variety of power, pneumatic and hand tools. This job may also include light janitorial work. This person will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and is located at our Zurn Water Management Facility in Paso Robles, CA. Responsibilities: • Read blueprints and schematics and can accurately make changes when modifications are made to repair facility equipment and production machines. This includes diagnosing problems, disassembling the machines, requisitioning new parts and/or equipment, repairing or replacing broken parts, adjusting functional parts as necessary, cleaning and lubricating parts and inspecting completed repairs. • Trains others regarding equipment preventative maintenance (PMs), pipe fitting, welding, light machining, electrical, mechanical repairs, installing, aligning, assembly of new equipment and repairs to the facility such as lighting, plumbing, HVAC, Heat Treat equipment, etc. Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment. • Troubleshoots facility equipment and production machines across all areas of the facility and work with associates at all levels to support manufacturing. • Train others on processes and manage daily maintenance requests to complete required maintenance work orders, PMs and breakdowns as they occur. This may be done through the sites computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). • Audits and enforces all safety standards, procedures and policies set by the organization, OSHA and other regulatory agencies.

Job Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and maintenance. • Completion of a 4-year training program in related fields or may be required to show the equivalent skills sets through passing specific skills tests. • Must speak read and write English (Spanish language a Plus). Must have a valid California driver’s license without restrictions. • Demonstrated experience in training others in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and experience in use of hand tools, power tools and specialized testing equipment required. • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is required • Experience in use of hand tools, power tools and other testing equipment.

Compensation $26/hrly - $35/hrly
